Did you notice in the article how this Vet, whose legs were blown off in Vietnam by a landmine, waited two fucking years for a new wheelchair from the VA? And the Lowe's folks (I'm going to call them Damone's Army of the Righteous from now on) were repairing his old one for him. After the story made the newspaper, the VA sends him a new wheelchair the next week. Mother fuckers. If you would have sent it to him 2 fucking years ago he wouldn't be stuck in a Lowe's after hours getting help from Mike's Healing Army.

The VA is an absolute national fucking disgrace. Not much really pisses me off, but this is one of them. Assholes.
 
I got my buddies from lumber and hardware to team up with us in sinks and toilets and we just knocked it out. No big deal. It was just the right thing to do.

I've had to tell my salespeople to go easy on the VA, they don't check pricing worth a shit.

I did an audit and found they were over paying by about 20% compared to our average customer.

I'm all for taking the money, because I am a good capitalist. However, I am afraid the company we took the business from will wake up and undercut me.

It is a fucking disgrace that they don't pinch us the way the private sector does ... they just blindly cut PO's.
