If Pete was still the coach, damn straight. But you can recruit well off a second straight mediocre year when there's a new coach in charge for the second one.

See Oregon's class last season.

Given the in state class, Huard already being on bored and his recruiting prowess, and the demographics of the 2021 class, it's going to be special no matter what happens on the field next year.

Yeah. This abject failure of a year on the field may not have directly hurt UW much in recruiting, but it has at least opened a window further for a few other programs to capitalize on. UW has to sell change and excitement along with their standard B4L and then back it up on the field.

UW's opportunity to win it all certainly hasn't closed but we? sure as fuck made it tougher on ourselves.
