Several attempts to merge Hardcore Husky data from Vanilla onto the new server have been aborted in the last couple weeks due to issues that kept cropping up. Our designer said that our data was "10 times larger than what was expected" for a website only one year old, and that there were some design flaws in the original construction of our site that only came to light when we attempted this transition.
So we've finally decided "screw it" and we're going to start fresh on Monday February 10th. All posting history will be erased and like Husky Football itself under Chris Petersen, we will be starting anew. You can still find us at the same home page URL and all that, but it will be under a different server. Once the launch is made, some tweaking will be done in terms of design to get it where I would like it to be. (A lot of effort and tweaking went into getting the current design the way it is, so I have resigned myself to possibly going through that again).
On one hand it's a pain for all of us to lose our posting history, but on the other hand the posts will accumulate fast enough that nobody will care within a few days or weeks.
True, we will lose a lot of anti-Obama posts from Death2Ducks and NBA updates fromTheKobeStopper AllPurpleAllGold, but those will accumulate again soon enough as well.
Even still, I ask you... Do you have all the screenshots you need? You've got until Sunday night to capture whatever you need to argue/debate/blackmail any of your fellow poasters.
