Important Message to the Bored

First off, I have served my 30-day tenure as AtomicPiss and have returned to DJ. I like to call myself DJ.
As previously noted in an OFFICIAL Executive Order, the Duck Refuge will cease to exist on Feb 16th. As stated, I am very disappointed over this because I had hopes of it becoming a "mini-me" to the main board. All of the posts from the Refuge will be merged with the College Football board on this site.
Alas, if we're going to add a new board for 2025, something had to go because there would be too many boards. So we bid farewell to the Refuge.
A couple months ago, @RaceBannon and I struck a 3-year, $300 million dollar deal for him to run a golf bored. It will debut on Feb 16. Race is calling it "The Caddyshack", though it just occurred to me that "Hardcore Caddyshack" might be better. It's up to him. The bored will chronicle the ongoing saga of LIV, Scottie Scheffler, Rory Mcllroy, Bryson DeChambeau, occasional golf tutorials from Tom Saguto, a thread dedicated to Yoon Ina's rookie season in the LPGA (in the USA she'll be known as Ina Yoon), and whatever else Race has in store to foster hawt golf talk on his new board.
Additionally, there will be a new policy for the annual August fundraiser. Any poster who has accumulated at least 5,000 posts will be required to pay the Standard Supporter fee of $34 a year in order to post. (That's $2.83 a month to support the site). If they choose not to donate their accounts will still exist and they'll be able to read the boards and upvote/downvote to their heart's content. But they'll need to support the site in order to post.
Finally, I can OFFICIALLY confirm that my urine is not currently glowing in the dark. @SweatpantsGeneral

IMO it's bad business to require people to donate (you have a board that is tied to those that donate) and your criteria for initiating a charge in particular is tied to those that have a lengthy history.
I'm not a "in the middle of the store" kind of person and as such I've never publicly discussed why I don't regularly donate. There are some that know my reasons and I'm more than willing to discuss behind closed doors.
It's all very arbitrary

If the money is here I'm the morning Derek will know that you can keep posting

That's 100% accurate @YellowSnow
I've long reduced my presence for a variety of reasons
That said, I still stand by my comments and that big picture it's a short-sighted move

Is one of those reasons that unlike X, you can't disable/limit replies here?
Because your little group is a bunch of softshell doog bitches for doing that. faggy wink

What group are you referring to?
You are definitely on the short-list of people that think that would think that. If I block people on X it is highly likely that the reason that I'm doing so because that person crossed the line and went into personal items and away from having an actual discussion

I mean controlling who can reply to your tweets. A bunch of people that "left" here, especially during/after Covid, and are on X/Caple's thing sit and rub their sandy vag's all over X's controls for not letting people even respond to you.

  1. I've never controlled who can and can't reply to my tweets outside of what I've said previously about blocking those that cross over a line of basic civility
  2. I don't have a subscription with Caple so I can't speak to what anybody tied to him or his site do
  3. Just name the people that you are calling out for having "left" here … if you're paying attention you'll notice I have limited if any conversation with some of those individuals on any public medium
I know your MO is to go after me for any and everything … but most of what you are talking about doesn't apply to me at all

Okay I checked and yes you did specifically block me.
Probably from an argument after TCU got into a CFP they didn't deserve to be in. Anyways I'm over it now that they're back in the Mountain 12.

I don't remember specifics but my guess is that you probably went over a line and I was tired of whatever you were doing
As a general rule to anybody, as long as the conversation is respectful I'll have no issue engaging … I'm one of the last people that you'll ever find trying to engage in group think
