The debate was about letting illigel immigrants work but how it takes 10 years to have a hearing on their immigration status. 90% never get asylum. NY is spending $7.9 million a day to fund this illegal immigration. Rep Malliotakis said these illegal alien families are getting $140k in benefits a year when the average NY family income is $70,000.
