I'm not mad at DeBoer

Didn’t DeBoer have more or less the same staff in place for a majority of his career? This is like a shitty movie where he ran off to chase the prom queen and all his friends left him. Plot twist, the prom queen is going to dump his ass.

He had been with Morrell basically his entire adult life, they were even college roommates. I wanted him fired too, but still crazy what he was willing to leave behind to be Saban’s bitch.
 
Deboer fucked up. He still might pull it together, being a guy who has refused to do anything but win at every stop, but the path was actually way easier at UW and I'm not sure the potential rewards weren't better too.
I hope it hurts. I don't hate him but he deserves to suffer greatly for his bad decision making.

I could see him going through some 3 or 2 loss years, getting into the expanded playoff maybe once. Getting fired and/or jumping to an NFL OC coordinator position.

Right now, Grubb has a better gig and life than DeBoer. That must grind on him a little bit.

KDB had bought many years of good will at UW with an energized fan base at his feet. Really stupid and wasteful move to throw it all away.

DeBoer is in a no win situation following Saban. His best bet is to jump to the NFL in 2 years before his charade is up

The only way it works out as more money long term is effectively making the jump to the NFL…which he could have done from Washington.

I agree. What's worse is the deal he made includes allowing Saban to lord over the program. He went full DeCuck. Now his most important sidekicks are bailing at the same time Georgia and Ole Miss look locked and loaded. I could be wrong but think he’s fucked.
