James Franklin I just lost the game that actually matters again now I'm going to be a tuff guy to a program that's down coming in hawt. Fond memories last year of him losing to Ohio State and then jailbreak blitzing Demond when the game was over and desperately trying to score another TD as time expired.

Losing to this UCLA team in a Rose Bowl that will be empty and probably more Penn State fans than UCLA is absolutely tarmac material. With their schedule I would say 10-2 is a floor for what you allow with him and that's still just treading water performance.

Penn State could crater if they try to upgrade. See Nebraska

That staff was so insufferable that bowl I hope they fucking lose out this season.
 
Once Penn State’s offense started to ground and pound Oregon during the B1G Championship Game and taking control of the line of scrimmage and their OC got cute and didn’t continue taking advantage of their clear advantage … that was on Franklin as the HC, he should have given his OC an ear full mid 3rd quarter.

Not to the same extent but there were many similar doubters in general of Day not getting over the hump until the playoffs last year. Not exactly apples to apples so don’t twist. Vanilla sucks

I will push back in one sense. Yes, Fisch strikes me as a used car salesman and him running up the score vs WSU was a douche canoe move. On the other hand, some of his players really seem to love him and that is worth something if mixed with competence

I LOLed at this post when UCLA was ahead 27-7.

Fortunately, UCLA might have used up their chance at another of their "upset" victories against UW with this shocker win.

Coming into this season, I thought Penn State was the #1 or #2 team, because of Allar. Almost all the top QBs - the (1st rounders), all look bad this year.

UCLA tried to gift Penn State this game by going for it on 4th and 1 from their 30 and failing near the end of the game. Everyone around me was laughing at this game all game long.
I hope Neuheisel Jr. becomes the next head coach for UCLA. I like their tradition of hiring cheap within the program of former players for coaches who won't bail when they are successful.

This game looked like a Pac 12 game, just keep scoring until the other team can't keep up.

This game will seal Franklin's fate.
