I'm calling it now

I can see DeBoer in Dallas. He’s not gonna go someplace that acts cheap, has a history of being losers or a place where they don’t like football.
McCarthy is a goner. Dallas makes sense. I don’t see any other NFL team that would be a fit, unless maybe Miami decides it’s seen enough of its coke-sniffing, munchkin rapper wannabe. But I think McDaniel is safe for now.
Would have been chinteresting if Pete lasted one more year in Seattle, and the team decided to make a change this offseason.
All that said, DeBoer isn’t going anywhere unless he wins it all.

Only LSU is dumb enough to try and get Lanning off of his upcoming 4th extension. I don't know what Kelley's buyout is but I wouldn't be shocked if they make a move. Embarrassed by SC in Vegas, Alabama at home in year 3. They don't gaf about CCG appearances there.

I don't trust Ryan Day to win anything. Decent chance Ohio State and Oregon play two more times. Great news for people who like guys who talk in fake voices born on home plate.
Excuse me? Ryan Day won last year's Joey Dangerously's Fake Tough Guy Award.

I think James Franklin sealed the deal for 2024 last week. Jailbreak blitzing a backup QB in a game that's over and trying desperately to score a touchdown as time expires is tuff.

Why is everyone writing off Texas?

More than anything I'd say the transfer portal has made the predictions alot more difficult. Tighter margins and no more dominant teams
Because they looked like ass under the bright lights at home against a Georgia team that has a bad QB and has otherwise been exposed a little. Bloom was off the rose after that game. And the Michigan win, as discussed above, is now a nothing burger.

Yep. It's pretty clear that Kelley is the coach who will make sure you're pretty good but never, ever, great. If you want to consistently win 9 games, with the talent that will walk in the door at LSU, he's your guy.

If you want to be a bully in the SEC again, he's not your guy.

I guess we found out
Well this won't encompass his entire body of work at Bama, one way or another. But that was laying a turd against a mediocre team, like UW losing to WSU in 1994.
I assumed my prediction would still hang in the balance heading into the playoffs. Part of me enjoys seeing him lose like that. Part of me wants to see him succeed.
