At the same time, I don’t think there are QBs out there replacing what McCarthy/Penix/Nix brought to college football.

Plus FSU, Georgia and tOSU all had resumes which would have put them in the 4 team playoff in almost every year.

Hyperbolic, of course, but last year was an outlier at the high end of the sport.
