Maybe. Even if he didn't improve the offense at least he keeps Shaq on defense full-time. That alone may have made ASU a Win. And I doubt he would have shit the bed like Cooper vs Arizona.

That said conventional wisdom on RBs these days seems to be leave ASAP. Guys that put an All-Conf years on film are probably gone to NFL ASAP. Sankey put down two years - guys in his position are going to leave 99 out of 100 times.
