If Purdue and Northwestern helmets had a baby

B1G helmets in general suck compared to say, the SEC.

Rutgers and Maryland in particular are twash.

Pedo and Purdue are boring. Wisconsin's W looks like some 1990's comic book font.

Washington and Michigan have the best. Northwestern's is top 3-4.

And of course Oregon having some obscure green wing gets them top 3. Fuck everyone.

Marylands are so confused and hideous that I actually like them.

Washington has had the best helmets in CFB since 1975 and it’s not really that close.

The exception, of course, are the @puppylove_sugarsteel Lambo FS purple helmets, plus the @Doogles TYFYS helmets and all the stupid helmets of the past 15 years.
 
Washington has great helmet.

Washington needs to stop wearing purple pants with purple jerseys. It's okay looking, but the gold pants with purple and white stripes are so clean
 
I like the rotating between purple and gold pants. I always wondered if uw beat cu in 89 at home if it would have been a more normal occurrence.

non-chrome purple with an actual gold W once a season would be fine.

Dark grey on chrome purple is a lose to Cal FS idea.

It's a shit color scheme but now we're forced onto it after MSU and Oregon wins.

White/White will also be used which sucks even worse.

I don’t get the fascination with Wisconsin’s helmets. Those look like something a fifth grader would come up with.
 
All these rankings have the Maryland helmets too high. Those are without a doubt the most ugly uniforms in all of college football.

Agree. The design and history of their flag is a big mess. I’ve seen more concise explanations of complicated European heraldry:
