I’m not mad, I just think rankings are always stupid. Outside of first, it doesn’t really matter. Penn state (and Texas if they lose) will lie but both would give their left nuts for a 13-0 season, conf title, and a qf loss over a 3-loss season and semi loss due to getting a Cush draw
 
Agree, though I don't think PSU will be ranked ahead of y'all since you literally just beat them, and neither will Texas. #4 was only if tOSU lost - figured the recent result would outweigh 13-1 vs 12-3 or whatever.
The ranked weeks, EOY in top 5/10/25, consecutive stuff like that I think is relevant. I also like the way things used to be in CFB, so…

I guess one thing that they’ll factor in, I suppose, is that the Ducks beat Buck and Nittany. And if things are even handed and not recency biased you give them the “one game egg” motigator because you gotta give it to Buck, who lost at home to a shit Mich game, and Dome, who lost to directional Illinois.

Everything we loved about CFB is over. The pursuit of perfection was always the driving force behind the “passion” and those late season Saturdays when #1 was on the ropes in the 4th quarter.
Now we’re waiting to see if some shitbag team might lose their third game of the season and drop out of the 9 spot.

As much as people are rightfully having another laugh at the Zeros expense, they beat 5 of the top 16 teams this year and 2 top 5’s.
That’s a dream season in any year other than 2024.
And a two loss team who were fighting and crying on their home field the last game of the regular season… Are the national champions.
What a world.
