you'll get a better answer from chest himself. However he called the reactions overblown, said we'll be fine when cyler is back and petersen is a proven championship coach and the program is going nowhere but up.
I agree for the most part however you can't just ignore all the negatives from this one, specifically the performance of both lines
 
I also said USC looked like shit at Hawaii last year with their starting QB yet went 10-4. Mentioned growing pains with new staff, scheme, etc and that we had 4 weeks to figure it out before season starts on September 27.

Addendum- Hawaii is not a good team but they are not the 2008 huskies that everyone was making them out to be. They almost beat Fresno St last year who was 11-2 and about 40th in SRS. When you factor in all this shit and not playing Miles, we can see why the line was only 15 points.
