To get back to the issue of the dead child, if you actually care and want something done about the Syrian refugee crisis then you would want photos like that published so that people can see what real suffering looks like. If you're interested in pearl clutching and faux activism then by all means scrub the airwaves of anything remotely offensive or unsavory.
