I See Dead People (And U-Dub Winning Tomorrow)

I see UW winning 23-20.

UW has been inconsistent and that is relevant but so are Stanford's red-zone issues and 6 turnovers in just 3 games so far.

Coming into the year, Stanford's OL (featuring two RS-Sophs) only had 26 career starts: philsteele.com/Blogs/2014/JUNE14/DBJune10.html
while UW had 124.

Our starting front 7 is virtually intact and better from last year, while they had to replace 3 talented starters (Ben Gardner, Shayne Skov, and Trent Murphy) so one could argue we match-up better along the OL and front 7. I do think we'll be successful in slowing down their running game without having to commit an extra guy to the box very often.

I'm concerned about our secondary against their WRs but our pass rush is very good and Stanford isn't built to exploit that too heavily. I'm probably Doogin' it some but I believe Sidney Jones and Budda Baker will be able to handle themselves just fine tomorrow (thanks to having CP at the helm).

Having competent special teams and being at home will be the difference this year.

Well I've been crushing these for the last 3 1/2 hours so in case they are Doogin' my head, I've been taking UW +8 for some margin of error

This makes me want to bring back the HH beer of the week segment.

In a sick way I do miss the old Earls. Also, what was that place almost to Earl's that was almost always good for a sidewalk brawl? Scotty's? It was real fratty that's all I remember.
