I see 11+ wins in 2014

Unless there is massive change in the roster.

Easy OOC schedule. Stanford and ASU lose a ton to graduation. Oregon may be sliding. All the hard games are in Husky Stadium.

And we have massively upgraded our coaching.

The future's so bright....

You see 11+, but you will be fine with 8. You can't expect to contend for a Rose Bowl with a new head coach.

Coaching continuity is so important. The change over the off season really threw everyone for a loop. New offensive system, new defensive system. Everyone's still learning. Just getting to a bowl game was a victory.

Dude............. No matter who it is, where it is, and with what talent, coaching changes always are tough at first. I'm not saying your prediction is not possible, but there are so many moving parts that would be extremely surprising. You will have attrition, you will have guys who don't like the new coaches but stay around and cause problems, guys who need longer in picking up a new system. It takes a while to shake the belief of being only a 7-8 win team. I think Petersen can get you there but in '14 may be a stretch.

Gus Malzahn agrees with the dipshit above.
Yah, there's about two modern cases of this in history...the OSU and Auburn. Keep in mind UW hasn't been in the ranks with these schools in 20 years. The OSU play in the worst major conference in the nation, and Auburn has won two games back to back on fluke plays, and nearly lost to the Coogs. I'm not saying it's not possible but, keep setting yourself for imminent disappointment. Faggot . Despite what you think, many of UW's players have the Sark mentality and I don't know if Petersen can hammer that out in one off season.

I hear people in Eugene are taking notice and are scared about what is going on up here.

That's actually somewhat true now for the first time in 11 years.

10-3 or Petersen is on the hot seat.

And I have a feeling he is going to get 10 wins without even breaking a sweat.

@Oregon & vs. UCLA will be very tough.

@Arizona & Stanford at home are 50-50 games.

Cal, Colorado, OSU, ASU will be wins. I won't put WSU in that category yet.

This season we flubbed the 4 most difficult games. I don't see that happening next season. Realistic best case scenario could be 10-2 before the Apple Cup.

That usually applies to unproven and/or bad and average coaches. There might be a few pussies who resist, but I think most guys want to win now. The only thing that's really going to suffer is the recruiting class and that may not even be much worse than it had been.
