I received an email from Puppylove Sugarsteel

I wasn't here during his zenith, I must have come around just as the sunsetting was really start to enfeeble his brain, but there were multiple times I wanted to ask if I was supposed to take him seriously or if he was a really committed Andy Kaufman/Tony Clifton-esque character, and in the latter case to what degree we were to play along. There was this mythology around him as a great poster, but all I ever saw was a confused semi-literate, semi-coherent old man full of empty bombast.

I think having not witnessed the precipitous decline, I'll prefer to remember him as the Neil Hamburger of hardcore husky, the unfunny comedian who is the only guy not in on the joke, but maybe he was and was JUST THAT GOOD.

In honesty I think he's making excuses for old age slippin in his brain. He should have been able to take the heat and I think he could but his posting had become a sliver of the genius he used to throw down with ease. Too bad he went out blaming you and the board Derek. He's my all time favorite for original content and hilarity.

Wow!!!! Had him pegged for older but you can't deny the quality of his material definitely took a swan dive. Maybe other factors at play. Wish him the best either way I was a fan.

Pup definitely one of a kind, lol’ed many times on his content and takes. Hate he feels that way. Disabled or not, we all get janked on and he shouldn’t wear such thin skin.

Pumpy lit me up for plagiarism one his many former handles. It was one of his weaker efforts, forgot to call me a bearded cunt, but it still made me smile. Count me in with the group that misses his colorful missives

I’ll miss him too but it’s for the best. He now has more time to add to his massive estate by working his Ameritrade account.
