I never fault a kid for picking Stanford over UW

I'm pretty sure UW has never gotten a kid also offered by Stanford. It just doesn't happen. To think it does is just silly.

We will get a RB just as good or better from somewhere else. Who cares if they are from Washington or not? I want the best players regadless of location.

Plus we are stacked at RB for a while. Next year there is a bumper crop. You have to look at averages, not the number signed in any one year. Move on. It's a non-story. Next.

Thanks for setting everyone straight! I'm sick of the negativity on this website. I'm all for banning & giving time outs. You guys do a great job!

Since you say you could care less, that means you do care. Because you have some care and could take it lower. Simple fact.

When Stanford sucked, you could get guys who were more interested in their football career than life post-football. Hell, Scott Frost transferred from Stanford to the academis powerhouse of Nebraska.

Of course all of you guys are being negative about this. Fans who really get it know that in state recruiting doesn't matter. It's all about getting the best guys. It doesn't matter where they are from. Hell, I would take a guy from Mars provided he could play and bled P & G!!!

Where would you tell your kid to go? It's not as simple as you make it seem.

Actually, I think it's pretty simple. I'd tell my kid to go to Stanford.

It is very simple. I would be truly disappointed if any of my grandsons chose Stanford over UW for engineering school. I worked with a couple of Stanford grads who sucked right out of school more so than any engineers we hired except for one MSME loser from MIT who was hired over my head. We had many very good engineers from all over including some from WSU as well as UW. Stanford academics are almost as overrated as MIT's in the technical disciplines, but the Stanford degree is certainly a great job getter....... which meant we had no trouble getting rid of the Stanford grads when I had to suggest they could never fit into our organization.
