Back story on this? Mostly because I don't care about recruiting, but she seems to fuck up at least one recruit per year. Sark has to just love her.

Far be it from me to defend Ruth, but you have to wonder about a guy who makes his college choice based on interaction with one person not even affiliated with the university. I could see it if he went for a visit and employees of the athletic department were being shitty to him. Every school has the rough equivalent of what we do - adults who are a little bit too into high school football. I don't know the details, but I have to question how solid the commitment to UW was if it was broken based on 'some lady annoyed me'. Seems paper thin.
