He has a 3 post blog that’s just about the softest thing I’ve ever read.
It was after high school that things really began to change & that I really discovered how I was able to express my individuality & start to feel comfortable with who I was. The main way was dressing very vibrantly. I wear bright colored clothing & I LOVE it. I root for the University of Oregon & I have bright green & yellow jerseys & clothes & those are the type of things that I love wearing. I don’t care if I stand out on a satellite image. It makes me happy & it was when I came to that realization that I overall came to be comfortable in my own skin for the time being. Feeling that you are your own person & you are comfortable with that is how everyone deserves to feel.
As much as self love is as it says about loving yourself, it is about surrounding yourself with people that raise you up & not tear you down, people that add to your loving yourself not add to your doubt of yourself. If you feel that those that you surround yourself are not bringing out the best in you, it might be something to think about to change the people you do hang out with. No one who does not bring about positive vibes & good feelings should be given the opportunity to tear down those who are working on loving themselves. It is so important.
