I got an advance reading of the script

If UW wins out and losses to 12-1 Oregon in the championship, UW will have the better SOR

UW's other wins are 6-3 Arizona, MSU, Boise, and Tulsa

Oregon's other wins are 4-5 CU, TTech, Hawaii, and Portland State

I think they'll be close to identical. Strength of record and SOS are different. Oregon will have wins over UW on neutral field on last game of season, USC, OSU, and @Utah (which is looking like the best road win in the league now) and a 3pt loss on the road to UW in a game everyone saw.

The UA game ends up being an unexpected plus to UW's resume but in the end I think it's a wash given @USC may end up with 5 or 6 losses.

Oregon will have to look like total shit in the next 3 games and barely beat UW in the CCG for it to be close.

The CCG is the deciding factor if UW and UO end up with identical records. UW could still make it with a loss before the CCG and a win over UO, but they'll have to look damn good down the stretch.

UW's in with 1 loss and a conference championship. Only way a 1 loss UW is left out is if that 1 loss is to 1 loss Oregon in the conference championship game.
 
And the impact of the USC game potentially decreasing doesn’t hurt UW’s resume significantly more than it hurts Oregon’s. Arizona improving only helps one of our resumes. Weird comp.

It's your "tough" road game. Oregon will have a resounding win @Utah which is and probably will remain the best road win in the conference going forward.

I'm saying USC won't be useful to anyone.

Whether Arizona ends up ranked is dubious. It's a much better win than anyone thought going in, though.

Before the Pac 12 ruined the conference championship rules with spider web fucking decision trees on 3 way ties and all this other stupid bullshit, the system was clean and fair.

Since you play the same teams every year you get 1 shot at them. Only a rematch if it was cross division where the outcome of the first game didn't mean as much.

You quooks only think that this new system is acceptable because it's bailing you out. Period.

Yes—assuming the greased up wildcats also lost another somewhere (too lazy rn to look up tiebreakers between a 7-2 az and Oregon in this scenario)
