Just a hunch, but I think the team will actually start fast and score 30 on offense.

Will that be enough to win? Probably not, but I think DeBoer will have the team pissed off and hungry to win

I do love this week each year. Starts off with “here comes the plunger” and by Thursday everyone has talked themselves into an upset.

The Huskies have played scared in Eugene for 25 years. It’s in their heads. Expect no different.

Other than a few years when Oregon has sucked this has been the case in Eugene or Seattle no matter how good Washington has or hasn't been. The mental part is huge and you can see it with how well WSU teams, which UW has been better than, playing Oregon much tougher almost every year for a long time.

UW could have all the confidence of Connor McGregor on Adderall, it would make no difference in the outcome when our back 7 are who they are and Oregon's offense is a juggernaut

I would think the pressure is on Oregon, particularly if they start slowly on offense. If they win, it will be an upset and if they lose, it was expected.

Listen fellas, dont twist. I'm not predicting a UW win.

I just think the days of the 17+ guaranteed curbstomp are long gone.

If UW offense is clicking the Ducks are going to be in a tuff game

Oregon scoring by quarter this year rank 1-4: 2nd, 3rd, 1st, 4th. It's the middle of the game that they typically pull away. I never worry about their first quarter output, more how they actually look.

Someone besides Rome will have to step up to help. Good as he is, I don't think the Penix and Odunze are winning that game by themselves. One or two other guys have to show up. I would be nice if one of them were a running back, but whatever.

This was my main disappointment at the game Saturday.

Polk and McMillan aren't physical enough.

They are going to have to force it to Culp to have a chance. He should be a decent mismatch with their d.

Richard Newton should be used a lot more in this game as well.

Agree with you about Dick Newton because it will be probably be in the low 40's and raining by kickoff.

I think the Husky O will find a way to score some points but I don't see more than 27 or 30. It will all come down to slowing Oregon's balanced offense and at least tying (if not winning) the turnover battle.

I anticipate the Husky D doing ok in Run D but they won't be able to get off the field on 3rd and 4th downs as often as needed. They probably won't get enough pressure on Nix and that means their WRs will get open for too many catch and run plays against a leaky secondary.
