Easier to argue conservative points (which are often counted by leftists by calling someone a racist) if you have a black spouse. "I'm not racist, my wife and kids are black". Sort of a next level "I have black friends"

I posted on the Shed for over 10 years and never once brought up the fact that my wife is black but after meeting some of the people who posted there in person and having my wife with me when I did so, the color of my wife's skin came up in a thread and if I recall correctly I wasn't even the person who first brought it up. When I first started posting over here I wasn't the first person to mention my wife is black, I was OUTTTED!!!

It gives me a slightly different perspective on some things but other than that it's irrelevant.

Would my tip story be more believable if I told you first about the cracker on the movie line down South who didn't like what he was seeing? The hate is pretty rare but you know it when it shows itself. I shouldn't give a rusty fuck if you believe me or not but the one thing I'm not is a liar. And you reason for why I would lie is pretty fucking lame. I was called a racist for many years on educk and only one poaster knew my wife and kids were black.
