I'm pretty sure that 1-0 is better than Owen-1. But then again I'm part of a fan base who thought 7 was better than 7 which was better than 7 so what do I know.

Have to agree with Boobs here...

It would be a decent confidence booster and nothing more. I can't even remember the last time the Huskies played a meaningful game after Halloween. Maybe it was in 2001?

I really do think that we have a good shot to win the game. We've been beat down enough as a fanbase that we expect the worst instead of the best. Fuck that. Let's have expectations and optimism. Good things are around the corner.

To win the game we will need to move the ball through the air. Their defense is pretty good and their DL should give our OL problems.

I think their offense will have issues. Returns 8 guys but lost the QB and Ajayi. I'm watching the Fiesta Bowl and its clear Hedrick and Ajayi were the two cogs for the offense.
 
MIP for a college kid (let alone a motherfucking QB) is a joke. Doesn't make him a douchebag at all.

Both games were at home and UW was expected to win.

Although Boise is a middle of the pac-12 team at best, they have a strong homefield advantage and the outside perception of UW is its in a major rebuild this season.

It would be a significant win in the present. If you think otherwise, pull your head out of your bunghole.

Although Boise is a middle of the pac-12 team at best, they have a strong homefield advantage and the outside perception of UW is its in a major rebuild this season.

Also, the outside perception of UW isn't changing with one win over Boise. Got to be in the conference hunt in November to start changing that perception.

I will post some more on not only the game but the season later in the week, but one common theme that has been talked about out here lately has been the need to see a big upset (and preferably road upset) this year. Winning at Boise would qualify for this. I think many of us have circled Arizona St as being a very likely target later in the year. But if we can get Boise, there's a good chance that the progress may be accelerated this year.

Winning at ASU, USC, or Stanford would obviously be bigger victories.

But at the same time, we're on the road, against a team that is ranked in the Top 25, with a decided home field advantage, in a game we're double digit underdogs.

Personally, I think the line is way too high and that Boise should be about a 6-7 point favorite heading into the game.

But if you think that this wouldn't be a big win for this, or really any program on its way up the ladder, you're either fucktarded or trolling ... and in your case, good chance abundance applies.

Go read the threads from @Auburndawg back in 2013 that I bumped. He tried to claim beating Boise in 2007 and 2013 was a big win for a program allegedly on its way up the ladder.

Winning on the road against the defending Pac-12 South champs isn't a cakewalk, but it's time for Peterman to win or get the fuck out.
