I take responsibility for the ending. I attempted an unscripted ending and dropped the ball. I will be sure to tighten things up next time around.
About Nick Pasquale: I briefly searched around to see what happened because all the pieces about him on ESPN and P12 Network never mentioned alcohol or anything, just that he was hit by a car while walking home. While you can easily find reports that his blood alcohol content was .26, I had to search through some comments to finally find someone who mentioned that the police report says he was crossing a highway (no xwalk obviously) when struck, which is why the driver wasn't charged. If he did weigh around 170-180, then he was pretty fucked up with a .26. It's a sad story for sure, but that's pretty fuckin dishonest to not even mention in the stories that he was fucked up and had no business crossing a highway at night like that.
I used to walk down 45th from the greek system down to my place near the Petco when I was in school, completely fucked up at 2-5 am. If some homeless guy would've come and shanked me, that's on me.
Who the fuck tries to cross a highway, on any combination of drugs?!
I mean, I feel sorry for the dude and his family, but that is natural selection at its finest.

Yeah, not to completely go off on a tangent but with some exceptions, the media in this country is just crap. I guess if the added that he was drunk and crossing a busy highway illegally, the sympathy factor goes way down? So less profit? I don't know, I can't think that sleazy.
Good chit on the podcast. I always screw up and hit the wrong button so I missed out on the last eight or ten minutes.
I agree that if they lose this game, it might be a long season ending in Albuquerque or something.
There's been parity in the PAC 10 for a while, even when Caroll was coaching the condoms. This year though you might end up with 8 or 9 teams bunched between the 30th and 45th best teams.
