We came up with a top 2 of Mark Dantonio and Tim DeRuyter. Chris Peterson is a fallback option. Pete Lembo should also be in the mix. Craig Bohl would be in the top 3 but he may be holding out for Nebraska.

All of us are fucking sick over hearing Nuss' name being tossed around.

Just curious about the love fest for DeRuyter? He is a defensive minded coach and Fresno St was terrible.

Take a look at that schedule and they still had to pull some games out of their ass. He is a hot name only because Boise St was below average this year.

I would get a little more excited if he brought his OC with him, but in that scenario FSU will most likely offer him the HC job.

Took over a 4-win Fresno team that was 97 in the metrics. Had most conference wins in his first season in 20-25 years. Strong second year. Tons of successful experience as a DC.

Kim, Eklund, and Fetters should love Lembo. I disagree about Bohl needing Div 1 experience. He's already got plenty of division 1 experience as an assistant, and is going for his third straight title at North Dakota State. The guy can coach and would be a good hire. Winning championships in North Dakota probably isn't flashy enough though.

Hauck to be far went to UNLV which is one of the worst FBS schools in the nation. He is also leading them to a bowl game this year.

He sucks but I don't think it applies to a coach coming to UW at all.

I pause for Lembo because he's only coached at small schools. Unlike Bohl who was an assistant at Nebraska, Lembo only knows small schools.

I do like Lembo's W-L everywhere he goes.

I'm a tad bias against him cause his name sounds too close to Lambo's.
