Our bus passes increased 25 dollars per game. Not enough season ticket holders on our bus to cover the $175 I guess
Yea. I noticed that after I collected all our bus money. I could have sworn that the price was the same $100 when they sent the bill with my season tickets, but then they increased it later after I collected the money.

They obviously want people to ride busses, by pricing them out. Used to be like 40 of them back in the day. Now they're lucky to get 4.
Never Enough

Could light rail in, then wait in a line of 10,000 trying to get out at the same tim

The absolute cluster of people trying to leave via light rail blows my mind every time. You literally built a station at the stadium. How did no one design it to actually get large amounts of people through??

They don't care how you get home. Just want everyone there to spend money. It's a safety nightmare for families with young kids.

couldn’t this be said about all of Seattle?

You wait in a line?
At the 23 Oregon game a did encounter a drunk quackhead trying to fight people as we loaded the train. I hope someone obliged but I guess that's what happens when your best team ever loses 2 years in a row

Could say the same for the roads after games, too. 45th is a mess, Montlake Blvd is backed up to the E1. And getting out of any of the parking lots on campus is hell, too
UW AD should really bring back the 5th Quarter to get people to stay after and hang out to help ease some of the traffic and congestion

Literally just park in Eastlake for free and walk your fat asses to Huskeieiieieie Stadium.
I once waited for an hour for an Uber that said it would arrive in 10 minutes outside Doog Stadium. Thought about running to the Aurora Bridge and jumping off.

Portage Bay Garage on Pacific and University remains my favorite parking spot for UW games.
Pre-COVID when Argosy still had a boat running from Ivars Salmon House was great cheapskate parking. The lot across from the restaurant was reserved for Argosy passengers but the attendant had no way to verify passengers vs cheapskates.

We always parked under Red Square. Nice walk across campus on a crisp fall day

To Haie's poont. E1 parking this year increased $100, for what they are calling a 'gift'. That's on top of needing to be a Tyee member to even be able to purchase the parking passes. The number of older people who have been die hard, long term season ticket holders is dwindling. I see it in my small circles. Multiple 8 pm starts are a big middle finger to those long term, very loyal fans. Those things are often cited as reasons older long term fans give up their seats. Also it wouldn't have killed them to install some escalators with the rebuild. I'm just thinking about the Racebannons out there with bad knees and greatly diminished cardio.
+1000 on the escalators

.

What the hell kind of preview was that from the B1GN? Same head coach, coordinator, Jonah interviews that they have done all spring and summer long.
I've been listening to the B1G station all off-season. They don't give a shit about UW. I believe you downvoted my opinion that the move to the B1G has done nothing for UW's national perception, but I'm right (as of now) about that and this reinforces it.
What are you talking about with regards to price increases? Don't recall that ever coming up.
Yes, I do listen to the B1G network on Sirius all the time. I can count on two fingers the number of times I've heard UW front and center. Meanwhile the Ducks get their own personalities on air for interviews, and obviously the traditional B1G schools like Michigan and tOSU get a ton of attention.
UW has gotten so much national recognition since the move that we? got ZERO AP votes in the pre-season poll.

I've been actually watching these previews including Ohio State and my criticism has nothing to do with UW in particular. Everybody in an 18 team conference is getting roughly the same treatment
Is this true? Sirius and B10 Network are treating Purdue and Northwestern roughly the same as Buckeyes, Penn State and Oregon?

Yeah, they're called preseason previews. It's an hour per team doing the same interviews with the same coaches and starters at key positions before their final scrimmage. That's why they weren't consistently released.
So yeah, that's fucking true.
Nobody said *Sirus AND B1GN" in the first place.

Yesterday's drive home was dedicated entirely to USC and how their QB is now going to be able to trust Lincoln Riley and let it rip now that he should be more comfortable being the starting QB for the Mighty Trojans.

We should absolutely beat Illinois next year and could be a nice building block getting a win over a fake ranked (possibly highly ranked) team. If we can't time to throw Jedd in the Montlake Cut.

It seems like we should just throw him in the Cut anyway. Why wait?

Is the Montlake Cut the same as the Montlake Gash? I thought she became AD at USC?
