Husky Jacks open thread [2025]

I don’t get taking Muhammad out when they did.
Coleman sucks
Coleman is clearly hurt, but to your point, every touch he got that Mohammed didn’t was a win for Oregon’s D. I’m seriously impressed with Mohammed—he ground out so many 3-4 yard gains where he was dead in the backfield.

Now To play the world's shittiest waiting game...
Behind Door #1: Fisch extention is announced. Pay 10 million for Sark v2.0 and likely remain mired in mediocrity
Behind Door #2: Fisch leaves, roster and recruiting class are completely gutted again and he have to choose between a 65 year old who has mostly been a failure as a coach but would stay at UW or a successful coach who would likely be gone in 2-3 years if successful.

Blow it all up. There is nothing special on this team.

Great evaluation skills. Save it for your family group chat next time

PM to Adam Mohammad - you have been a beast the last two games! I thought you sucked early in the season but now believe Jed’s play caller was the actual issue. Those of you that called him an NFL back seem to be correct. Mohammad morphed into what I expected from Coleman all season the last two games.

No way we win at ucla last week without Adam and had he had 25 plus carries and better situational play calling yesterday in the passing game UW could have won the game.
Example - Mohammad was getting big chunk plays prior to Jed calling a Demond pass 40 yards. This decision and gassing the D in the first half led to the L. This was a very winnable game. Preemptive FO to dtd

Yep. And if you’re gonna split some carries, give a couple to 10.3 Jordan Washington instead Kneebrace McFischburger.

Mohammed needed to play. He played and got confidence and now we all see that he’s a tough runner with speed.

Earlier in the year I thought he looked pretty good when catching and running after check downs and screens but was hesitant with his carries.

Yeah, Mohammed looks like hes really turned the corner over the last few games. He has always run hard and violent, but last year and early this year, it was typically right into a defensive lineman or the ass of one of his own players. Super excited to see what he brings next year. Pretty good chance imo Coleman opts out of the bowl game so it'll be his show.

I’ve been out on Muhammad all year, so really pleasantly surprised and happy for him. It looks to me like he’s running more confidently and trusting himself more. I think it all happened during the Wisconsin game (lol) and then carried over into Purdue/UCLA/Duck.

Pictures like that are oddly the ones that make me buy into some people saying that Jedd isn't a great 'fit' at Washington.
It's hard to put into words but our fans just don't really give a shit about the Arizona-esque random stuff like that.
