B1G West coast rival decides to mail in the next year or two

Wow, just wow. UCLA is such a fucking waste. School is in a top 5 talent hotbed, and they just can't get themselves to give a shit about football. Losers.
Great RB, maybe an ok RB coach (probably not, never got promoted in 6 years at UCLA), absolutely zero structural support from the university/AD, no NIL, zero coaching tree or contacts.

UCLA is claiming they interviewed 11 different coaches, many already HC and this is who they are stuck with? These fuckos are very likely to roll out Jerry Neuheisel as their OC at this rate.
actual program seppuku

UCLA and their upper campus support is what many people accused UW of being.

It's absolutely stunning. They just refuse to care about football. USC has been down for 15 years, and they could own SoCal if only they gave a shit.

not sure these names knock it out of the park but i guess its the 'lead a room' that ucla loved.

counterpoint on that 'lead a room' comment. grabbing an RB coach with no playcalling experience is certainly something, im sure it will be smooth sailing into the B1G for brooins though.

Never called plays, never developed a team or organization, has zero coaching network, and holy shit he was even bad at recruiting and developing his own position group…
2024: 1 - 3 star RB 30 miles from UCLA (beat ASU and Cal)
2023: No HS recruits, 1 transfer from ball state that looked good
2022: 1 - 3 star RB 10 miles from UCLA (beat Colorado and Kansas)
2021: 1 - 4 star RB from Alabama who is a bust and hasn't played a game in 3 years (beat App state, Ark St., and Army??) and 1 transfer Charabonet from Michigan (very good)
2020: No HS recruits, 1 transfer from Duke (mediocre, lost job to Charbonnet)
2019: 2 - worthless 3 star RBs, both from southern California (beat Cal Poly, Army, and Drake) (both transferred and became backups at; Southeastern Louisiana and Portland St)
2018: 1 - 3 star (beat Army and Navy), was so bad he position changed to DB at UCLA before still never playing and then transferred to Arizona as a DB
There is no way THIS guy was leading or commanding any room, an incompetent 6 year position coach is not a modern CEO coach… lol

Kreist. That is brutal

Someone will need to absorb losses in this iteration of the B1G and god bless UCLA for throwing both hands up

This board’s obsession with comparing every hire to Willingham or Sark, even when it makes no fucking sense, continues.

Makes Keith Bonerpopper look like Barry Switzer.

Seattle Sports Awards people want with every fiber of their being to hand out orange slices to WSU players and teams. They had no choice on that this year. Fuck them.
