The idea of redshirt, scholly limits, or really any of the old rules seems so antiquated now.
Like remember when USC played the kid in game 1 of 2023, but he was supposed to be DQd for a targeting from their previous bowl game? People called that out but I don't think there was ever any consequence.

The Cal portal transfer is WR1 at the moment I'd say. Boston WR2. Jackson slot.
I think Boston will be good. He was behind a lot of studs.
Jackson flashed a bit last year. Could be a legit receiver.
That trio alone is honestly better than half the B1G. Not hyperbole. It's a skill position wasteland at many of those schools.
