The nonsense talk around Oregon being “better” than us? in the national media reminds me why the playoff came into being (but took my beloved bowl system away in the process).

Polls, or having to beat a team head to head…it’s both the beauty and frustration of sports. There’s never an end to the debate of who the “best” team was.

The Huskies could beat Oregon in the CCG, crush every team in the playoffs, solve world hunger and there would STILL be motherfuckers that doubt them and give the Heisman to Bo Nix.

No but they will get in if they stay undefeated.

If Bama wins out, the Pacs only chance is an undefeated UW. They won't take a 1 loss Pac team over 1-loss Georgia. Might not even take them over 1-loss Texas or Michigan/tOSU.

It also hasn't helped the Pac that once-ranked USC, Colorado, WSU, UCLA and possibly Utah all turned out to be frauds.

OSU, Wazzu, and the other conference champion should just forfeit so the Pac gets a team in the final 4 for its last season
