I think the only way the Apple Cup continues is if WSU sobers up and admits to themselves that they will need that revenue, badly. It will be in Seattle every year and they will lose every year. I have a hard time seeing that actually benefit WSU.

It's in the best interest of the student athletes.

The students are getting paid they can work for it
 
I appreciate that the team and coaches are setting the bar high. As long as they don't go 8-4 I think I'll still be able to enjoy the ride as opposed to the recent past where they just wanted to "beat Colorado this week"
