Husky Jacks open thread [2023]

Damn, Trice dropped 22 lbs? That's as bad as ZTF going into this past season. Not feeling good about that.

Doesn't 20+ lbs weight loss usually lead to a transfer to Alabama to be closer to home?

Giles Jackson. 176. Is that a good thing?

Maybe he will finally be sudden or fast. After watching some of his returns as a freshman at Michigan his time on special teams at UW have been nothing short of a major disappointment.

My thoughts exactly. He's not breaking any tackles at 185 anyway.

Maybe he'll finally be explosive as advertised.

Didn't seem like speed was his problem to me. He just isn't that shifty and a mild breeze will knock him over. Maybe losing 9 pounds will make him a little shiftier, but not sure how it helps his ability to stay on his feet when defenders breathe on him.

He stops his feet and doesn’t get the yards that are there. He is not a freak athlete but he can be way better with the ball in his hands.

He has the best hands on the team (highest completion percentage per targets), so if this conditioning translates into better YAC, he could really be lights out at WR
