Glad he came back for a final season with DeBoer

Going to miss him

It's why you never can really assume things will be the same or better

How much did a guy like Kirkland make the 22 Dawgs tuff and winners?

Is there a next man up

We think so. We hope so

The line was arguably better without him initially. They gave him the tackle position out of respect, but quickly moved him back inside cause Fautanu was better.

Kalepo is ready to takeover and isn't completely green. This is what you want, a 4th year 4-star with game experience stepping into a starting role. Not a true frosh with potential.

^^^This all day.^^^

I thought that until Kirkland got his reads down in his third or fourth game that the line performed better with Kalepo at guard. Better communication in pass pro and a more consistent holes in the running game. Kirkland got it all ironed out and was a stud down the stretch but Kalepo is gonna be great. The other side is a mystery because outside of Mele, who will probably start at center, there seems to be a lot of talent and very little meaningful game action. Spring camp will be a lot of fun.
