Husky Jacks open thread [2022]

JFC I remember when Dorrell was a shit coach for UCLA almost 20 years ago... I cant believe he somehow is still around coaching after so many years of mediocre, at best, coaching at every single place he has been.

I still get a good belly laugh thinking about my Dad losing his shit at the dinner table when his Broons gave Dorrell an extension in 2007 after going 7-6 and then promptly had to fire him that fucking season because they sucked so bad.

Jaden de Laura can plant the flag on the 10 yard line to signify the place Alex Cook will be when the WR he is defending breaks the plane of the end zone

Been a while since I’ve seen a safety so bad in pass coverage.

Tripper Johnson maybe.

Alex Cook is like having Nate Williams all over again. Team leader, makes some big hits but can’t cover worth a shit and doesn’t make big plays on the ball

I just made this comparison to my game day text thread last week. A hold over from a previous staff that has "bought in" completely, gets rave reviews for leadership and big hugs from his new coaches. None of which covers for his lack of speed or coverage skills. For a guy that was a marginal D1 receiver for two years he has zero feel for the routes receivers use to get open.
