Meh. This is just classic confirmation bias. It's telling because we want it to be telling. But these exact comments are made by players every single time there's a regime change. Sometimes they're telling, sometimes they're not. Time will tell.

Probably, but I don't recall a lot of this when Lake took over. Maybe I've just whitewashed (not in a racist way) it from my recent memory, but if anything, it seemed like all we heard was Jimmy's continuing the Petersen path (which was bullshit, allegedly).
 
DeBoer could have been boating on Lake Washington because you can't expect him to get any recruits just getting hired and we were 4-8 and Jimmy and stuff

It is impressive that he is hustling. I follow Bama and Saban twitter and Nick is busting ass out there. Any coach who isn't should be fired immediately

There was. Even last fall camp, Otton and others were talking about this being the best camp yet.

Not only is he hustling but he seems to be landing recruits, including via the portal, in areas of specific needs. He is getting a bunch done in a short period of time.

Sure, he has to develop them but there are no indications that he cant.

Better to stay, finish the degree, get a free car or two, still be important and get blowies from the coxswains, and actually start working out again and learning a real offensive system.

Otton can be great, but he had a disappointing season and didnt look NFL TE ready at all.

All he has to do is call up his buddy Hunter Bryant and find out how quickly things can go to shit in the NFL.

But ... he gone. I think he was probably a mid-round pick after '20 and that's probably where he'll end up going in the draft after last season irregardless. So he probably missed out on the cars, but I'm sure he did very well with the coxswains.
