Polk is the best #3 Receiver in the country, if Odunze bounces, next man up.

Being a #3 is not a big deal. You’re on the field almost all the time with the formations most teams run.

Polk is absolutely a great #3 receiver. If Rome is indeed gone Shepard needs a new #1A or #1B out of the portal. McMillan will be a stud next year and he needs a top shelf running mate and I'm pretty sure the roster doesn't have that kid right now. No offense to Polk.

Polk has 650 yards on 38 catches while being overshadowed by the best WR duo in the country. He'd be a good WR1 on most teams, and will be a fantastic WR2 for us next year should it shake out that way.

He's one of the better all around athletes UW has had at that position in years. Good speed, size (very strong kid), and good hands. Not an all-league WR or WR 1 necessarily.

Far better than Fuller and Baccellia! For example.

Polk is better than I have him credit for. He's not as dynamic as most true #1s, but he could fill the role.
His TD against WSU on the shallow cross was one of the better plays made by a WR. The bomb TD against quook wasn't bad either.

Is this the guy who signed a letter of intent in like June? He was a unranked diamond in the rough and nobody knew who he was but Will Harris and the other worthless db coach offered because all the other prospects told them to fuck off.
