Yeah, I think we lose 2 of those guys. It sounds like Cam Davis is emerging as the #1 back. If that is the case, the seniors are not going to hang around to split a handful of carries or be used as blockers on passing downs. Sam Adams also seems to be firmly entrenched as the clear 7th team running back so I could see him leaving, being moved positions, or both

I'll put my bet on Pleasant, Newton, and Adams portaling. I have a feeling McGrew sticks no matter what. Here are my odds to portal if Davis is the starter, which I don't recommend anyone using as a basis to bet money:

Adams...60% regardless. He probably sees the writing on the wall in terms of his future ar RB. UW will always have better prospects in the depth.

Newton...51%. I dont see him sticking to be a role player. He still has time to go establish himself somewhere.

Pleasant...33%. Pleasant is a great fit as a role player in the UW offense. He's a decent blocker, big, and a good receiver. I just think he'd have a better shot somewhere else that also features RBs in diverse roles but doesn't have so many decent running backs.

Nah GOAT we've always been a sleeping giant in terms of home field advantage and fan support.

Just wait if/when we beat Michigan in the Big House, Husky Stadium will be revitalized and rocking all year. The Oregon game will reach Stanford 2016 levels or better. That game was as close as 2000 Miami (my millennial standard) I've seen. Almost interchangeable. The oft-repeated notion that UW Stadium won't ever get supremely loud and hostile again is a false and tired one.

I assume he's saying he's surprised that many want to go right now given the pandemic situation and tepid at best enthusiasm for Spring games in the past. I agree with him.

I agree with you that a Michigan win will revitalize the fanbase. But that hasn't happened yet.

You mean Stanford 2016?

Yeah, I didn't expect that game to be as crazy as it was from a fan perspective. Was a surreal experience for young doogs.

It's too bad Shaw was ass in 2014 and 2016. We should have fucking beat him in 2014. Hell, we should have beat him in 2017.

2016 was great because they played a near flawless game on offense.
