Husky Jacks open thread [2021]

If we had Puka, I would feel we had big time potential to have a great year at WR. I still think we will be good.

We don’t need 10 WR’s. Nobody after the 4th guy even matters. McMillan seems a little soft, but he did show he can get open and there is big play capability in him.

Rome, Bynum, McMillan, and Polk is a pretty good group. Raccanelli is right behind and can be the great blocking WR doogs think we need so badly.

Yup nothing gets me going better than a blocking WR

Roster weights might be the most inaccurate and useless pieces of info there is

Morris gaining ten pounds doesn't seem beneficial in any possible way. He's already working on a dad bod and one of his best assets is his ability to move in the pocket. I'm not sure what ten more pounds is going to do positively for him. Maybe if it makes him more confident in his arm and he quits putting his whole body into his deep balls and overthrowing everybody.

Otton is a monster. Culp didn't need 20 more pounds that's almost assuredly bad weight. Tafisi's gains are interesting.

Ah You and Asa are probably the most significant gains to hope on here.

UW roster weights have shown to be highly accurate when kids weigh in for pro days/combine etc.

They may not be especially useful though. I agree we probably put too much stock in them.

Such is the offseason.

From Culp's catching highlights the last two years I can see him adding 20lbs of good weight and fully commiting to being a run the damn ball blocker.

This is clearly a fake/doctored video. Fudgie has assured me that Dylan Morris can only throw a football 10 yards at most.

He can throw it. Accuracy and timing downfield remain to be seen. Small sample size, but it wasn’t good last year. I expect it to get way better.

His arm strength is fine, he just loses accuracy after 15-20 yards. He overthrew far more deep balls than he under threw.

He's not Browning.

Our RB depth chart makes me limp as a wet noodle
