I like Puka, he's shown some stuff. He performs well against our worst enemies which is always a plus for me.

It would be a loss if he leaves, but if he leaves it's probably because we don't give a fuck about him unless we're trying to come back from a 21 point deficit against a mountain west team at home.

I think he’s probably homesick although after Kaho, being skeptical is reasonable.

Puka is our best WR and would be a big loss. He’s good.

No doubt. The last wr that could take a routine 5-10 yard pass to the house was Ross.

I wonder if there's something going on where coaches refuse to have their play calling dictated by the fact that receivers could defect by not getting enough touches.

But Puka is part of what is clearly the playmaking core of Bynum, Rome, and Jalen.

I've never really understood why everyone just assumes that Tosh is "just" a recruiter. Saban moved him right on up his coaching tree until he became DC. Maybe being a coordinator was just too much. As a position coach the best in college coaching (Saban, Meyer) seem to think he's pretty good. I'd kill for him to be back at UW. Meyer could have gone after Larry Johnson and was either turned down or he chose Tosh over him.

My thinking exactly. If the dude sucks at coaching football why do people want him to be around? The NFL doesn’t need you to play video games and drop off cash. Saban wouldn’t promote someone because he’s having a hard time finding new coaches who can recruit to Bama.

I was afraid of Washington hiring Tosh as DC to the point where I didn’t want to mention it.

You needn't fear Washington doing anything remotely positive for their program.
 
It's going to be fun watching Rome, McMillan, etc transfer after the upcoming 6 win season with the offense averaging 200 passing yards per game.
 
So in other words Jimmy is still the DC and nothing changed.
