Their website says they have 600 analysts but only their Sr. analysts can finalize grades (60 Sr. analysts). I know a lot of GMs have said they use some of their stuff to help evaluate prospects.

On top of that, how do they factor in the ambiguity of assignments? When coaches grade they know exactly what play was called and who fucked up. PFF doesn't have that insight.

Eh most of the time it’s pretty obvious what a player’s responsibility is. Most teams end up running similar things. Of course there is some built in error but for the most part it’s very very accurate. If they don’t know the player’s responsibility they receive a +0 which is the neutral grade. So it’s pretty negligible.

Yeah, I don't really give a fuck about him playing volleyball either, didn't read the article. I did, however, take the 27 seconds to read that blurb, and, IMHO, I like hearing that our stud player "intimidated a bunch of guys on [his] team" with his aggressive competitiveness and will to win. I'm basically just typing out the whole quote now, but once properly channeled, it drove his teammates to push themselves and him to higher heights.
These are EXACTLY the traits I want in a player, especially a converted-volleyball-EDGE-rushing-poly-viking DAWG MOTHERFUCKER. And, the eminently faggy side of my sports appreciation thinks that's their societal value, driving self-improvement and teamwork.
So, I thought it was a cool as shit anecdote, me.
