Great. Pete still seems as though he hates everything. Cant wait for us to come out flat today and get trucked. Why cant he muster enough energy to look like he enjoys coaching for a couple of days? I am really looking forward to the Lakeshow. I think another year of mopey Pete may have sent me over the edge as this year had me tottering.

This. Urban Meyer is about as fun as a wet paper towel and a lot of people hate being around him. Players included. What the hell does that have to do with winning games? Insert Saban as well.

Not trying to sound like a Doog but how the fuck is Boise St. ranked ahead of us. I do not care that we lost 5 times. That team was fraudulent.

Not really the same thing. Those games were nail biters that came down to the final minutes and could have swung if one or two plays went differently.

UW plungered Boise on a neutral field.

There’s no world where Boise deserves to be ranked after that.

I don’t like the X’s and O’s talk from Lake. Minor complaint because I know he’s a passionate guy, but we had a big strategy guy already with Pete. Of course it’s important but toughness and attitude should needs to come first. That’s where we are lacking right now. There are a lot of good schemes and they all look good on the white board.

I disagree with you on this point because after seeing what Jimmy did in the Apple Cup last year when he put zero fucking d-lineman up front and confused the fuck out of Wazzu on that 3rd and 6 or whatever it was... that was fucking crazy. I think that's what he means vis-a-vis a strategy on page 17 of that big book of decision trees.

I just don’t want it to get to a point where our whole MO is too outscheme and outsmart the other team. That said, some halftime adjustments would be nice.

Pursuit, tackle, cover on defense. Block, run, catch on offense. Schemes change all the time, but the game remains the same.

Mostly I just want Jimmy (ILTCHJ) focusing on being a Headcoach and recruiting... Kwat is fully capable of developing the Xs and Os scheme stuff on defense and Jimmy needs to hire a self sufficient OC.

If Jimmy tries to hang on to the DC stuff AND do all the bullshit that a headcoach has to do its much more likely to end up a disaster.
