Husky Jacks open thread [2019]

I don't know why you guys are asking for the fucking moon at this point.

We just want people to catch the fucking ball first.

Running after the catch is gravy!

Let's cross that bridge when we get there

Chest is an idiot. Who the fuck cares about a receiver's ability to break tackles? Yeah it's nice, but having Andre Johnson strength is far from a prerequisite. Both Andre and Fuller can get open [/b]and can catch the ball. That's what fucking matters.

Can they? Against Ohio State in the Rose Bowl?

Uh, yes? 7 catches for 80 yards for Fuller, 12 catches for 109 yards for Baccellia. With Browning at QB.

That not doing it for you?

I mean yeah those are good numbers, there's a lot of bubble screens in that though. I'm just remembering Millen's video on the first half offense, they got locked up by OSU's DBs and were not running good routes.

I like WRs like John and Dante who can take a slant to the house. Sue me.

come on fudgepack you know we can;t have nice things. we live in seattle
Huh? Rome, Puka, Jalen, and Emeka all say hi!

Yeah, but they ain't here yet! and puka is working his way through Peterman's conservative system.

Just fucking wait. It's going to happen again ... Thoon.

You don’t consider rain, heroin, and top notch home grown as “nice things”...

I bet next your going to tell me the Aurora Bridge isn’t “nice” either.

Asking why they didn't try a longer field goal with Peyton Henry when they had an opportunity and he said he felt one possession it was in a grey area and that's why they didn't try it and also wanted to let the offense get some more reps as well.

Aka, We shouldn't expect a FG attempt longer than 35-40 yards all season.

I read that as "We didn't want our kicker's fragile ego to shatter on his first kick of the season. Let's make his first kick a gimme to build some confidence".

I thought it was established that a Husky fan runs this account?

Slow playing the Dawgs inevitable rise to the top for maximum effect?

Receivers who are no threat to make a play after the catch are not good receivers.
Doug Baldwin was shit after the catch but absolute money at the highest level.

Yeah it's nice to have someone who can do something after the catch but it's not a requirement to be a great receiver.
