Huskies’ LB Hau’oli Kikaha finalist for 2014 Lombardi Award

A huge game vs. Beavs could help matters. He would have to be waaaaay ahead in sacks in order to have a shot.
 
Hopefully he is healthy to get some sacks. Petersen said last week he was dropped into coverage more than usual because they wanted him to hold up.
 
Love Kikaha, but he's not even the best D Lineman on his own team. Danny not being on that list is a crime

I also noticed late in the game, when we really needed a sack, #8 was dropping back in coverage.

I noticed that, too, but to be fair, he took away a passing lane for the quick route when I noticed (WR was doing a curl, Kikaha sat 5 yards in front of him between him and Solomon).

I'm not sure about that. Shelton was a monster against Arizona, but Kikaha had been better in PAC 12 play before that game.

It's apples to oranges. Kikaha is one of the best pass rushers in the country and Shelton is one of the best DT's.

Chicks dig the long ball. Substitute sack in for long ball in this case.

They're both very good/great. I wouldn't really rate one ahead of the other.
