Probably but he coaches WR’s and has no experience coaching QB’s. Those are the guys that typically move up to coordinator jobs.
 
You never know. Learn under DeBoer and Grubb for a couple years, then maybe Grubb takes a HC job somewhere and Shepherd gets the promotion. He’s already worked under a good offensive coach in Brohm. I could see where being the OC in waiting and a pay raise at UW would be enough to get him to flip jobs. DeBoer has kinda let Grubb have the offense here and at Fresno while at Purdue Brohm is the offense.

Grubb looks like the first guy on Deboer's staff to be a head coach. Maybe Shepherd gets groomed to move into the OC spot over the next year. He isn't there yet.

You aren’t wrong but Shepard has had really good WR’s in recent years. DeBoer has been a successful coach on offense. I’m looking forward to finding out.

Keeping Huff seems like a boneheaded decision.
