Huskies add QB from the Nothern Colorado pipeline

I’m more than a little concerned about the number of and reliance upon FCS players at crucial positions for 2024.

I guess we are going to find out real soon if this staff evaluates well.
 
We gave a scholarship to a guy who…
-was unrated out of high school
-started only 3 games for an Owen team
-was beat out for his job by a freshman

Between this an the OL recruiting, I'm starting to think whichever nepotism hire guy it is that's our OC sucks.
 
You have to believe that recruiting high school kids is an exact science to say FCS guys auto suck

It’s May and we had two QBs on the roster. I think we’d take anyone who can hold a clipboard at this point.

Not sure how you can read anything more into this one.
 
With anyone good automatically portalling if they aren’t starting by year 2, have to find some dude somewhere that has a semblance of QB skill in an emergency and is willing to practice hard/do all the right things/be the kind of guy you’d want your daughter to date in exchange for a good education and an amazing clipboard holding opportunity.

These are real blue collar types who bring the work ethic and lunch pails!

Given the level of snobbery, it's a question when there are so many FCS players in crucial positions that we? become a Big Sky team.
 
I think I’ve told it on the pod but this reminds me I think of 2002 I think after beating Idaho by 14 when someone called in the Honks and bitched about how yeah we won but we have Big Sky talent all over the field. I think they legit hung up on him and everyone in my car laughed. Then they lost to an average Cal team the next week and it proved true. Long story short which one of you was that?
