Hurricane victims applying for the $750 FEMA relief-- and are reportedly being denied!

"North Carolina governor said Thursday that Helene has caused a "complete devastation" of the state's water infrastructure. President Joe Biden visited North Carolina Thursday and said that up to 1,000 active-duty soldiers will assist the National Guards in the rescue efforts."
Nice of Joe to get his ass off the beach 6 days after the fucking storm and pledge some help.
As of my last text to my customer in Asheville at 3:30 this afternoon, he was delivering supplies (water and protein bars) even though FEMA/government told him not to fly into the shit. He is a very wealthy man so I don't think he cares about any fines they might give him for helping to save people.

Yeah, goose stepping rat morons go out and tell others that biden and Headboard are doing a great job while those on the ground know better.

Volunteers rescuing NC Helene victims ask where federal government is: 'No support, no leadership'
Volunteers join 'America's Newsroom' after rescuing 11-day-old baby in need of oxygen
"There's just a complete failure of weak leadership here in North Carolina, the federal government, and it takes mind-strong leadership in Florida to send us up here," Howard told Bill Hemmer on Friday. "If it wasn't for DeSantis sending the state guard special missions unit up here, this never even would have happened. But there's just no support here. There's no leadership."
"When we meet these locals on the ground, they're asking, like, 'You're from the state guard?' I'm like, ‘I am from Florida,’ and they're like, 'Where's North Carolina?' You know, they're asking where their leadership is," he continued. "They have no understanding of what's going on, and then we've even had people, officials here, try to kick us out of Lakemoor, out of Chimney Rock... Nonsense stuff. They're asking me for my authorizations to be here… It's the most insane thing you would ever see. It's like they want these people to die."

Trying too hard. Not the best summary.
  • Improper link
  • State government blame leveled in the first paragraph removed
  • Filtered in passages/quotes from partisan punditry TV to support an anti federal gov bias
  • Assuming readers can't read the full article themselves
I give this summary and its support of reality a D. The steps you took to make the headline bold make it a D-.

I have no clue what the Urn guy is babbling about as he’s all over the place. He’s not making any sense. Read the gibberish above this post for evidence.

Being unintentionally obtuse isn’t a good thing, buddy.

Beware the Jabberwock, my son. The jaws that bite, the claws that catch. Also beware the Jubjub bird, and shun the frumious Bandersnatch.

A stone cold killer, she is. If hurricane victims are the 2015 USC offense, Harris is Azeem Victor.
I know man, all those Deplorables dead and it’s Trump’s fault!
Is there any doubt this Retard works for the government in a civilian role?
At least Biden directed the hurricane at Asheville to kill off some dems too. Don't want to make it too obvious. Smart leadership.
I think that’s completely an insane thought so you’re responding to the wrong guy, Dunce Cap. You have government lifer written all over you. Hopefully Trump cuts whatever unnecessary department which employs you.
Believing that the feds are willingly letting people (republican voters, I'm hearing) die for political/electoral reasons is equally batshit as believing the feds/deep state seeded and directed the hurricane, or that the apocalypse is near, per @RoadTrip. It's all the same batshit in different form. You're not red-pilled, you're clearly just batshit and Dunning-Krugered enough to think that you have been. You live in a Tug/MAGA fantasy land.
you mean the government whose leader said republicans are the greatest threat the nation faces is republicans wouldn't try to kill them?

The best part of this thread is the slack-jawed faggot citing dunning-Kruger doesn’t have the slightest clue how out of touch with reality he is. Unwittingly the rant is pure projection.

And when called on the carpet he deploys an unserious, unrelated gif to deflect the blow back.

Do we? or do we? not explain the Appeal to Authority logical fallacy?

Some folk'll never lose a toe. But, then again, some folk'll. Like Cletus, the slack-jawed yokel.

A few random thoughts:
  1. This should all but lock up NC for Trump. Given that NC is a swing state this election, I'm actually surprised at the ineptitude from the current admin. And that's saying something.
  2. This is great example of why the reach of the federal government needs to be limited. NC is obviously far more capable of handling it's own relief efforts (along with neighboring areas) given the appropriate resources and access
  3. Real Americans would donate their $750 to the democratic fundraiser in the Middle East, because that's apparently more important than food and water for folks in the mid-Atlantic
