Love seeing the party that proposes gutting FEMA, eliminating the NWS, and cries about the welfare state, reducing federal government bloat, and increasing state autonomy, create a false narrative about how the federal government isn't doing enough to help the poor people. Even if that were true, which it isn't, you can't have it both ways. Look at the hundreds of GOP reps and senators who have already voted against increased FEMA funding. Look at Donald Trump diverting FEMA resources to the border in 2019.

Yes, FEMA is proving to be a giant hole for money and not emergency preparedness.
Better to allocate the funding at the local and state level.
Or even *gasp give it back to citizens to help prepare themselves.

imagine if Trump was president. The left media would have the hurricane and lack of federal response on all day, everyday. See Katrina for reference. They can’t hammer Biden/Harris on it at this stage in the presidential election. When the press doesn’t do their job fearing it will hurt their preferred candidate, that is election interference.
