No. It didn't help that LarsFS kept tbs'ing him every week, and then last week he tweeted out text messages between him and Echols. (Surprised that I'm surprised that wasn't posted here). That story caused a rift between ucla and Echols, allegedly.

UW seems to be passing on Echols as well. They just offered Cade Otton (of the Tumwater Otton's) at DE.

Looks like they're only looking to get 1 DE this year and it will probably be Otton.

Reminds me of a Will Dissly-type DE. Very cerebral, lunch-pail kinda guy.

reminds me of JJ Watt. But he might be going on an LDS mission so he may not even count against this class.

And if Echols wanted to come here they would take him. I think he is passing on us not the other way around.
 
He'll probably switch again between now and February ... we'll see how many of these SC kids stay on board when they go 6-6 or 7-5.

Wrong. Thats not how things typically work when local guys commit to SC. Plus the new DL coach is a Tosh type. He won't lose him willingly.

If he does switch it'll be because his senior film is shit and SC tells him to fuck off. In that scenario he'll likely end up at lower tier p12 schools: Az ASU OSU CU etc. because the UCLA UW and UO won't want him either.
