Hugh says Grubb was out coached by the coug D

On Chucky & Bucky Huch said the cougs were a step ahead on the UW offense all day. Similar to the ASU approach. On the grounding penalty Penix had McMillan on a three yard slant and didn’t give him ball and it was a TD.

As this board has been saying for weeks chucking deep to the sidelines is gonna make your life very difficult.

Except for the crucial drive at the end where we caught them flat footed then kicked a FG for the win. Cougs gonna coug.

But you can't see what Hugh sees. He's looking at the all-22, and he will remind you of that.

Grubb's biggest weakness is that his default is to whore himself out to the explosive ...

It's not that he can't be patient (there have been instances this year where that was clearly the approach) ... but it usually isn't something he pivots to very well in the middle of a game.

Is Hugh still mad that UW's prior coaching staff didn't think his kid was a P5 caliber QB?

BTW, anybody catch Grubb's comment in the presser that WSU had some of our play call signals in the game?

In the first half, so the offense was more effective when they knew what was coming.

For as much as people railed on Dickert for being a pussy, Grubb did his best impersonation today.

I don't know why he'd be mad. That staff sucked at quarterbacks.

No surprise. Everybody hates Kale.

No, what exactly did Grubb say?

Still doesn't know how to use the 1.5 NFL tight ends on offense either.

The one designed play to Westy was successful and would have gone a long ways had Penix not turned it into a circus catch.

2 NFL tackles, NFL RB, NFL QB, NFL blocking TE, two NFL receivers, Westy who could probably find his way onto a squad nothing should be slowing down this offense.

Not to mention Brailsford likely playing his way to the NFL. Buelow probably gets a shot at the next level.

Time to roll.

Theory: spending too much time plotting next summer’s family vacation murder instead of sleeping in his office.

Ever since the Oregon game, it seems like Grubb has been trying to win the Heisman

Westy might be a better pro. Too bad grubb can’t get his head out of his ass
